Plagiarism Policy
J-SIGAP (Journal of Smart Governance and Public Policy) is highly committed to academic honesty and publication integrity. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will be checked using the Turnitin tool to detect similarities (similarity index).
Applicable policies:
• Maximum Similarity Level: 20%
• Excludes: citations that have been arranged according to standards (APA 7th), bibliography, and metadata. Similarity per source: should not exceed 3% from a single source (except for legitimate citations from official documents).
• If the manuscript has a similarity level of more than 20%, then:
It will be rejected immediately if there are indications of major plagiarism.
It will be returned for revision if the similarity is still technical, such as repeated quotations or common phrases.
